Well, just discussing about the latest movie of Shahrukh Khan, it can be said as one of his attempt once again to stand as the king of romance in bollywood. His acting cannot be questioned in this film though. But along the story line, some of the statements which have been emphasized are vague and disturbing. Shah-rukh Khan(suri) did such a sacrifice and brought her home, gave her all she wanted, and loved her as far as a man can do(probably did not show it). And then she declares to him that she cant love him ever because the love in her has died. I can u understand that Anushka Sharma(taani) being not so polished as an actor, has the luxury to be erratic but never did her postures exhibit that taani is really so depressed that she can never love anyone and that she had actually lost someone so special whose absence cant be replaced. Also her falling for raj(probably srk has taken the patent for it) was not so satisfying that would turn a lady whose just lost her love and her father some days ago. Does that mean that a man has to be smart and funky to make a girl fall for her?? Is the writer trying to tell that girls these days only fall for hunks, nomatter how hard a man tries to show his love? And they will only realize that when the show is about to end?? :) I guess thats drama, but as a married girl the charecter did not show any responsibility of even informing her husband that she is spending a whole day with raj in his birthday, or be it atleast informing the husband about a dance partner that she has from a month..
Does she then resemble the indian woman?? What the writer is exactly trying to say?? Because I guess traditional charecters are always the picture of the common man. And all this does not disturb suri, the man whose doing so much. Its just that he wants to make her understand that he also loves her. Suppose if raj was actually someone else, would suri give her apology and take her again as his wife?? Would the common husband done it?? Why was this factor not even judged. Anyways adi is always kool. But some issues do disturb me. Any comments??
